Was at a table with this guy and someone coughed in their hand and wiped their hand on their pants to obviously try and avoid spreading germs and huck seed says "you think that helps?? Thats disgusting get up and go wash your hands."

The player who coughed said to him "dude im in the middle of a hand and had to cough I wiped my hand off".

This guy didnt even have a cold he just had to cough. I was at the table for 1 hour and he wasnt coughing any other time.

He starts demanding the floor man come over and the floor man gets the player some of the germ gel and asks he use it. This is in the middle of a pot!

Huck Seed after the hand is over and floor man is gone: Im rooting against you in every pot, I dont need your germs

ya I agree he should have coughed in his shirt or sleeve but lets be serious here..sometimes you just cough and dont think about it. Huck was being extremely rude I was shocked ive never seen him act like that. Afterwards at break someone told me about the quadjacks interview so it seems huck is very bitter these days for some reason. No ft paycheck?

In this interview he's just being a douche to mess around with Marco, making Marco work a bit to get something out of him, and it's all tongue-in-cheek. I found the interview quite funny.

Overreaction by Seed (if it went down as stated).

Yeah, cough into your sleeve, but there are God knows how many players with who knows what germs in a poker room, touching the chips and the handles into the bathroom and everything else. You only notice the guy coughing at your table, but you probably walked through five other clouds of germs just getting to your seat.

Carry your own Purell or get over it. It's part of the risk you take entering a poker tourney, IMO.

Not to mention that he should have waited until the hand is over before asking (telling, demanding, whatever) that the guy wash his hands and/or cough into his sleeve from now on.

Dont want to make you think about it or anything (arent you playing in the wsop?) but think of how many guys dont wash their hands in the washroom and proceed to touch chips? Ive even seen nose pickers at the table diggin for nuggets!

One can only imagine Huck's dismay had he have run well at the '08 Main Event....

TBH, I don't get too freaked out about stuff like that. Five years in the Army has pretty much made me immune to getting too disgusted about germs. I wash my hands before eating and when I feel it's necessary, but otherwise I don't really think about it much.

So coughing in your hands at the table wouldn't freak me out, but for the sake of politeness coughing in your sleeve is still the best way to do it. If you are the sort of person who is more concerned about this, just keep hand sanitizer in your bag. But berating a player in the middle of a hand for a throat clearing cough seems much more over the line than the guy not coughing into his sleeve (IMO).

TBH I think Huck Seed looks like a germ. I dont think the guy ever looks at the mirror before he leaves the house. The guy is pretty gross looking.
