Looking at hotel prices the first week or so and Resorts World seems to be the best value. Has anyone stayed there? Reviews are ok but not as good as expected for a new place. Aria is probably my next choice but I've never stayed there either.

I have not... but I know a few people that have and it's just Aight, nothing special.

Resorts World is brand new so I can’t imagine there’s really anything to quibble about the rooms. At least from people there to play poker.

It’s got some nice restaurants, places to hang out, and a good poker room.

It’s maybe a 30 min walk or so to WSOP

What are the min/max buyins at $1/$2 (or $1/$3?), $2/$5, and $5/$10 at the WSOP cash games?

Thanks!

Getting excited, as I will be playing the $1,500 limit Hold 'Em event on June 1. I'll also be playing some 20-40 at the B, and some NL at the Horseshoe. I'll also be eating at my favorite steakhouse in Vegas. Great time of year for poker players, including the casual, recreational ones like me.

I went on bravo to sign up for the $400 Colossus (I know big spender) and the blue registration button was not available for that tournament. Is that a bravo issue, is the tournament at capacity?

Thx

Are you asking if several thousand people have already registered online for one flight of Colossus 6 weeks out from the tournament?

I mean, I think it's obvious that all of these threads would be much much different if events were selling out months ahead of time. But GL to you, I'll be in that one too!

It is still true that if you register for a tournament early, they will blind off your stack if you're not there at the start?

If this is true, what it the best way to late register for tournaments if you don't want to risk having to stand in line forever?
(I'm not trying to late reg for any sort of advantage, I just mostly play limit tournaments and have generally found the first few levels of those to be pointless.)

I've never done this, but you could deposit money there, have to get verified etc, then just use the kiosks to late-reg, some people balk at the ~$3 fee for kiosk use but sounds like in your case it'd be worth it.

I'd be fine with a $3 fee, I just don't want to pay a 3%(!) fee to use a credit card. I'd be curious to hear from people who have done this and how long it takes to get money in and out.

Last year there was a rule as to which events had stacks blinded off and which didn’t - maybe those with multiple day 1s didn’t blind off?

From Riverph7 in the 2023 WSOP thread:

“ All stacks go out if a player has registered before the start of the event.

To keep your stack out, you must register after the start of the event.

/was not my experience (lol, sample size) in Seniors (2 day 1s). I asked the dealer why some players were blinded off and some got a full stack upon arrival, and she told me what's been posted here--depended whether they were registered prior to event.

In their defense, that's probably not much above what they're paying the credit card companies.

The pre-registration for flight C (Friday) and flight D (Saturday) for event 3 are unavailable on Bravo. 0 chance those are already sold out & are on alternates, right?

They could be just pushing earlier flights I guess.

Maybe it’s set to allow only a certain number of pre-regs so there’s still some capacity for same day walkup regs?

Where can I find all the tournaments to pre-reg? None of that is visible on my Bravo app or when I go on their website. All I ever see on the app is this.

Can anyone assist?

Thanks
