if NP adds on $1 MM to his stack, I will be able to move on from his nerdiness. After rewatching some of Robs home game, i think Rob would be a great player for this show. Also, if someone would please stake Farha and Viffer that would be the nuts.

Dream Team of degeneracy:

Dwan
Salomon
Farha
Viffer
Yong
Tony G
Hellmuth (mandatory straddle)

It's a theoretical reward, for your process/play being right, but losing the actual item of value. At least my understanding

You shove 4th pair vs a guy with a gutshot/over, he calls with awful odds and gets there. You lose money, but win "Sklansky bucks" b/c the play was sound.

You're playing DFS, start some minimum priced WR who gets 9 targets but ends up with 1 catch for 6 yards... You lost money most likely, but won Sklansky bucks because your pick was solid in theory and he got a ton of chances to do well

Nerds collect them over time, and trade them in for theoretical stress balls, slinkies, or stuffed animals

Seems like the suboptimal move. I had an annual sub for a few years and the amount of decent content they produced was pretty disappointing. Could be better now tho, from briefly perusing the site it seems this might be the case.

I subbed to watch new HSP and would agree that the content is lacking

I've found all these enjoyable: HSP (the earlier seasons as well as the one currently airing), PAD, and Rob's Home Game. Countless hours there.

They have all of the old and new HSP, like 3 PAD series coming out now, all the past WSOP and High Roller Bowl series. Plus their own poker sitcoms, gameshows, interviews, and events such as what they can show of the Polk/Negreanu Antonio/Hellmuth grudge matches ect.

Your aware this is poker right? Kinda limited by events? You were expecting feature length movies or something?

Rob .. probably can't travel. Plus he's trying to get his own casino back open per Twitter.

Farah .. young kid, 'mad-scientist workaholic' hubby .. she's definitely jonesing .. but committed to NY/NJ home life

Viffer .. not sure the story on him, pretty sure he has a 'home' life now as well

Now that Christmas has past maybe 'santa' Mercier would make an appearance. I've got a feeling that his patience would not be there and maybe drive him even farther from the game .. another home lifer right now as well. I've heard that FL is moving forward with online gaming, that might spark him a bit.

JRB and PHell are the game builders so they get a pass on their 'rock' playing styles IMO. GL

HSP is great, PAD is super hit or miss, and Tournaments are mostly boring

The only content they have that I wanted to see and hadn't already seen, sans new HSP, was Robs home game. I'd love to see more in that format, but have minimal interest in most tournament events.

Would love to see some Omaha cash, seems like they only have tournaments

In retrospect it should have been expected, but I was somewhat surprised they don't have anything Triton on there as well.

It's not easy producing new content during a pandemic, but we're doing our best with new seasons of High Stakes Poker and Poker After Dark - also having High Stakes Duel and High Stakes Feud.

While new content is hard to come by right now, we are building out our library with older releases of WSOP footage (which I understand many don't care about).

But we've released everything available from WSOP 2003 to now. We're editing WSOP Europe from 2008-12 and will be releasing that in February.

And for the numbers nerds out there ... we have 2,411 videos on PokerGO right now which totals 3,770 hours - or 157 days of continuous viewing. Or you can head to our YouTube channel and watch clips and other episodes - and we have over 800 videos there. That's a lot of poker content!

Are we planning on filming a new season of High Stakes Poker or Poker After Dark? Hell yeah we are!!! Are we bound to COVID-19 guidelines, travel restrictions, new casino rules, and players reluctant to partake until there's a readily available vaccine? Unfortunately yes.

I for one think it’s well worth the $30 for 3 Mos so far...

I would say it would be nice if there was a way to see what episodes have been watched... and also when the new episodes will be coming out

I also noticed I resize the video sometimes and a 2nd video starts playing. Anyone else have this problem?

For 90 bucks a year or whatever it is, it's essentially free come on, I'd pay that just for the new season of HSP. They're doing a good job putting content out and what's up there is a real nice archive. The way worse thing about PokerGo is their ridiculously convoluted website, as well as the fact I can't stream it properly (unless I have any AppleTV or what?). I guess can't ask for too much at this price so I'm good

If you click the schedule page it shows all the new releases including the date and time they are being released.

This sounds like you're on the home page - but if you were on the individual video page it will fill the screen.

Content is great

It’s just so frustrating that I can no longer cast using Chromecast

Any plans to get that fixed?

Subbed to PokerGo because of this series of HSP. Pretty pleased with the site so far, a lot of old content that I'm enjoying watching for the first time. New HSP is good also, very glad they brought Gabe + AJ back. Would have liked to see Kara back as well doing some interviews. Farha and Gold are the players I am most missing being on the show, Sammy in particular really made some of the old episodes great.

Side note I am having an issue watching in google chrome as the colours and the top of the picture distort, particularly on full screen. This isn't specific to PokerGo though as it happens when playing video on a lot of websites. Anyone know what I could do to fix this? I do have automatic chrome updates on.

Should also add for anyone from PokerGo reading that the reason I never signed up in the past is that originally the cancellation process appeared like a complete ball ache, having to phone the USA. I realise you dont want people to cancel but no chance I was signing up when that was the case. It appears that has been updated as I read there is a button to press if you want to cancel now (although I havent actually looked for it). This made me a lot happier to sign up and start a sub.

Meh. When I have numerous monthly subscriptions nowadays its not really about the individual cost of any single media source. I'm just gonna choose to subscribe to the programs I use the most. If I have to pay $90/year to watch maybe 1-3 shows its just not worth it. I don't really care about watching JRB, alex keating, some tourney players and johnny the clown flail around attempting to play cash. I'd much rather watch a Triton event where pros actually play interesting poker or just read the high stakes thread. Maybe I'm just not so much into the nostalgia as most, or maybe I'm just a grouch. Either way the content doesn't interest me enough to warrant paying for a yearly sub.

Well there you have it. JRB is interesting in Triton. Not interesting in any other format. Tom Dwan, interesting in Triton boring as hell in any other format. Triton must watch. All other poker content is shite. Seems completely reasonable, and thanks for your contribution to the poker entertainment landscape.

Neither JRB nor Tom Dwan are the exciting factors for me in regards to Triton. Well maybe Tom a little bit. And as mentioned, it doesn't cost a yearly sub and probably has the highest production value of all current poker media. There you have it. You're welcome.

The content is great and it's a small price to pay to help support more of it. I would pay the 12 bucks a month for just the new HSP, and you also get the Aria high roller stuff, decent new poker after dark, and tons of classic WSOP footage.

People are so cheap lol

Tonight's HSP episode was kind of meh, looking forward to some newer players, I am pretty surprised at the play of a certain tournament "goat".

Got it, rich Asians and Koon only and 2 events a year. Also we should be entirely dependent on a junket operator who is incentivized to take huge losses on production costs to advertise his events which are in themselves also a cover for another venture.
