PH actually feels like a nice guy away from the poker tables.

I love Phil Hellmuth, but come on man, do you really have to wear your poker costume for this? I really hope he has a more extensive wardrobe.
The old pictures were really cool. I'd love to have a look around that study.

Given how much he likes to show off, I'm surprised at how avg. his house is.

He tries to compete with Ivey etc. in everything, but Ivey's crib is like 10 times classier..

Palo Alto or Menlo Park? Looks similar to my in-laws' house in Menlo Park: Nicely updated older home on a quarter acre lot. Probably worth $2M-$2.5M.

Well hellmuth does say he has owned the house for 12 years. Up to 96 he had 5 WSOP wins for about $1.4-1.5m total, after taxes and the such, probaly paid for his house.

Also after a quick google search I found articles interviewing Ivey in his house and the reporter detailing what his house looks like, but could find no pictures or video. I assume Ivey given his younger age and more recent success purchased his home only a few years ago, which could account for why Ivey's house is '10 times classier' according to exec.

Or of course Ivey is just more balla.

Appart Phil Hellmuth himself, I 've never seen anyone wearing PH'gears.

edit: I saw Mike Matusow with the blue PH' t-shirt during the 5000$ Omaha hi-low event during WSOP 2007, where PH had a side bet with Phil Ivey that Matusow was going to win it

Great song choice in this thing. "Comin' out of my cage and I've been doin' just fine", then The Man Who Sold The World.

For being the self-proclaimed greatest of all time, I was expecting more. That house was just average. He ain't no Eli Elezra!

ive seen something like this before on high stakes living...

"This oriental rug is very expensive"
"Oh I just happen to be late for another interview, as you can see I'm very important"
"See this painting? He painted this at the Commerce where i final tabled it the other day. He has a painting of me in the worlds oldest museum."

i was expecting footage of him winning bracelet 11 to be "accidentally" playing on the plasma when they walked in

so my theory...

A. How is a rug worth $20k, 30k or 40k? Obv PH is better at putting opponents on a range than he is a rug.

B. Who pays $40k for an ugly rug?

Wow, for him talking about jetting around the world, and being at movie premiers, and buying $2500 bottles of champagne, he isn't that baller.

I wish he wore normal clothes too.
