I presume you watched the video yourself so I'm surprised that you didn't spot this yourself, as you saw above most other people weren't impressed with it immediately.

I can only hope he paid you well for it anyway.
for ur sake... you realize your talking to the kid who jumped in the pool. Sure we would allow him to not jump in thats his choice. We will beat him later if he doesnt, but it's totally up to him

Lol, eurotrash? Internet, serious business, eh?

Didn't even watch the full thing (the guy was intolerable to be honest) so he may have sang praise for you assistants but from what I saw. The pool thing just topped it off after him going on about how he sent his assistants to this and that, how his assistants pick the cheapest cola etc making himself out to be some big shot or whatever. The issue isn't with you so just relax!

Personally I'd have told him to go **** himself if he'd appeared and did the whole "assistants! One of you is going in the pool for Cardplayer!" thing but hey, not my problem really.

Yeah the sn kind of gave it away Anyway, as I said, there's no problem with him, he was doing what (I assume) he was being paid to do or whatever, the only issue is with how the Stout acted in the video which didn't come across as too respectful for those who are working for him.

He may be a cool guy or whatever but he came across as a bit of a douche in the video, but it's no big deal so there's no need to get so defensive, particularly since it isn't you! (though obv your going to have your friends back).

well i mean what are we supposed to do. The entire principle is extremly boring anyway and so they decide to have someone jump into the pool. It gave the segment a little life and made it a bit more interesting.

You were implying that it had something to do with his character and basically calling him a sheep and lacking self respect. These are some very mean accusations to make about someone you know nothing about and quite frankly you owe page an appology. I'll let you slide about calling stout a douche only b/c hearing him say assistants 10 times kinda tilted me too.

cannonball could have been better...did any of you shag that asian chick?

also that girl in the bedroom looked kinda hot too. does he share her with well behaved assistants?

also protege/assistant to baller seems like a nice summer gig. no need to hate on that.

Matt is a pretty cool dude....met him a few times in AC.
Don't really get HSL doing a piece on someone renting a house?

Question...how does something like this come to be? Did Matt (or one of his many assistants!) know someone at CP? Or did CP comes walking into the Rio one day and pick someone from the crowd!

So many haters in here.

Who cares if it was rented? I think the point was made earlier that it is not called "High Stakes Real Estate Purchasing". Renting a pad of that size and quality is definitely still a brag imo.

Secondly, what is so bad about jumping into a pool in the heat of summer in Las Vegas? Who cares if he was told to? Honestly I'd rather do that than walk a block or two in the pouring rain to grab a cup of coffee from Starbucks for any desk job boss. Are you going to have the same problem with the person getting coffee for his boss from Starbucks if it is raining outside?

[x] The term assistants was overused.

But that's about it.

I think its fair to say that its impossible to not come across as a douche doing these sorts of videos unless you're fairly well known in the poker world.

Is it really high stakes living if they're renting the place?

Yeah fair enough, wasn't out to belittle or insult the guy. I just know if I had someone talk about me like that during the interview while he's trying to impress the girl/CP and then comes back in to try to further impress them by making their "assistant" do something, I'd have ****ing snapped at the guy

HSL is focusing on the MSNL crowd of online players when they should be focusing on the nosebleed players.
