Must not play poker if you've never heard of the Toilet. And he's called the Toilet because when he first started he played any two suited cards and made a lot of flushes. Agreed w/ the sick amenities.

Just curious how much does a place like this cost to have a room there in Chicago?

(i live in chicago) - i'd make the exact opposite point. i don't get why some people value having so much space/land. the more material possessions i accumulate the more i realize i just don't care about most of them. i value living near my friends, near a lot of different things to do (sports, restaurants, bars, festivals, etc.), and being close to work (i can walk to work everyday and i wouldn't need a car if i didn't want one).

just different tastes for different people i guess. faraz's building is on the nicer end of chicago high rises. nice spot.

The Aqua is so overblown it's not even funny. Terrible design - no idea why it got such great reviews when it was completed. looks ugly as hell, imo.

That said, the view Faraz has is probably the sickest in the city - Lake, Bean, Millenium Park, downtown skyline. Apartment itself is not anything special, but the amenities do make the place a lot sweeter.

2 of my buddies live in K Station in the West Loop and while they don't have the views of the Aqua, the amenities are at least as good (basketball court, gym, party room, theatre) but they have an outdoor pool, outdoor party area and the rent is cheaper.

Still, can't hate on that set-up Faraz has. Except for everything in his closet, namely the fedora's and vests...

There is a really nice outdoor area that wasn't shown in the video. A big outdoor pool, tons of space, party area, grills, cabanas, etc.

Also Aquas location >>West Loop.

I think Aqua has the nicest amenities of any high rise I've seen in the city...

If so, then it's probably very similar to the set up at K Station. They were completed around the same time, too, so it would make sense.

The location thing I think is a matter of preference. I know I wouldn't want to live quite that close to the loop. But the views, yeah, pretty undebatable.

Pretty nice apartment. Not sure if he is living well but not super baller to save his cash, or if that place is the most expensive in town.

Love the amenities but wtf how many people in the building? All the rooms are empty when he goes in. Do you have to schedule a time to go there... like say 1-2pm for basketball court or FCFS? would ge tannoying to me .

He was in two WPT TV shows because he made 2 final tables, then in that pokerstars NAPT bounty tournament where DN needled him for his last name. If you follow any tv poker you'd have heard of him.

gp/hoosier/cosines, bringing cribchatter to twoplustwo!

the views are definitely sweet but the unit itself looks extremely mediocre- fridge didn't even look like it had a water dispenser, living room looked small.

amenities also look like could be best in city but f sharing things

Nice to see the inside of one of the units makes me miss living in a high-rise. Not a terrible spot. A decent holdover until: http://www.lincolnpark2520.com/ opens up in a few years.
