For w/e reason I can't copy paste but AJKHoosier (Alex Kamberis) walked over to JJ PRodigy's table at the 5k at the bike and words exchanged with Alex calling Josh a fu**ing scumbag.
First off, no matter what you believe, Alex should have received a penalty.

Now I guess I have a few questions : One is do you think you would say something like this to someone in the same situation and my second question is how long would you hold a grudge for?
For the record I do not know if JJ won a tourney that Alex got equity stolen from him or he just despises multi accounters but it has been awhile since any news of JJ cheating so I guess it just striked me as odd with the timing but maybe Alex has never met JJ til now. Opinions?

This isn't news. JJProdigy is a ****ing scumbag. Lots of people know that. Sometimes I guess they say it to his face.

He's a cheater who continued to cheat after he got caught. I don't see anything wrong with calling him a scumbag. Sorel is pretty much the same as JJ but Sorel seems to have a lot of buddies in the live poker circuit so nobody says anything to him.

Eh. He should probably get a penalty I guess. I just don't really care that much. I don't care much in general about people cursing or insulting other people in tournaments.

I'm sure JJ gets called a scumbag all the time. He should get called a scumbag more often. He's a scumbag. His scumminess isn't super old news either. I don't really remember the specifics, but basically he comes to 2p2 every year or so apologizing and then doing something scummy again.

Regardless of his specific case, I think that it's pretty reasonable to hold a grudge for at least until someone repays the money that they earned from cheating. JJ hasn't done that.

should be no penalty, at most a warning for abusive language. so first off, you are wrong that he should be penalized.

but leaving out the explitive and just saying 'yo you are a cheat and i have no respect for you' should never be the grounds for a penalty

to answer whether one would say anything in a similar spot:
this summer at the wsop 10k pl i got into with hellmuth after he berated some kid and i let him know he was a scumbag, it got heated for about 5-10 minutes and the floor was called over after will faila (being a hellmuth fanboy weirdo) started talking sht like i had been overly abusive with my words, when hellmuth was the only one who used any inappropriate language when berating the kid, and i had just called him a scumbag, a liar, and a shill for a corrupt company. we were warned but phil couldn't let it go. he said 'kid i dont want anyone to hate me' and i said 'buddy i dont hate you, i just have zero respect for you as a human being'. scotty nguyen later gave me a high-five

That tilts me comparing Men to Josh. Multi accounting is one thing but having rules for your horses to dump chips to you and if you raise his blind you are getting dropped, marking cards, and the rest of it is not even close imo. Was talking about the yelling at him and calling him a "****king scumbag" the player @ Commerce got a 1 orbit penalty and decided to just leave and Men went on and finished 3rd. It is totally different what they did just similar reference in the live setting was the point.
