all online props work for rakeback/rakeshare in varying amounts. usually between 30-90%, occasionally 110% on newer sites looking to ramp up traffic.

I lurk all up and down these forums and in my ~three years of reading this site I've NEVER heard about an online prop player.

And since you'd have to be "spectacularly unaware" to not know this, surely you'd have no problem linking multiple threads that touch on this issue?

props have been released from employment over discussing prop status/business on 2+2 before.

I get that, and that's why I'm wondering why dids is acting like it's common knowledge.

3 years ago you would here a lot about it, now though since most sites arent accessable to the US players and this board is prolly populated by more US players than any other nationality your not gonna hear so much about it. Add that to what others are saying that its against the rules of the poker sites to talk about it so ur not going to hear a ton, but there is still enough talk about it here and there. Most of what Ive read has been in the internet gambling forum.

Because it IS common knowledge. It's not Dids' fault that you're a moran.

good rakeback deals and you're usually not allowed to be on the waitlist of full games (in order to start other games) and usually can't sit with more than one other prop player at the table.

ummm, you yourself were a prop player, so you saying it's common knowledge means nothing.

OP didn't relay the full story:
- G Smith was a prop on Absolute
- G Smith was a marginal winner when he could see the hole cards
- G Smith found the game too hard and left when they took away his superuser.

Straight from the camels mouth.

on absolute poker, the deal was 100% rakeback

It was only on limit i believe and from like 3/6 - ?

i played it when i first learned how to play poker. I was terrible, but with 100% rakeback and a brain, i could make $

I tried a few other "propping" things when I first started.

They had 65% rakeback on Prima which was called propping for some reason.

Also, when Poker.com started, they offered 150% rakeback, and this included heads up play. It was an absolutely ridiculous deal.

I think some people still have an 80% rakeback propping deal with cakepoker, but I don't know for sure.

You left the apostrophe out of the contraction of "pot roast".

uhhhhh that doesn't mean the thread they made on 2p2 would have been deleted. Dids makes it sound like there are many threads/info about props on Absolute when that isn't the case. Dids link me to all these threads that I am unaware of you almighty moderator you!

If a table I was playing at ever filled up, I MUST get up.

I could only play at tables with like 4 or less people.
