Then he should accept a plea deal. Pretty hard to convince a jury your not involved in an illegal activity if you were convicted of the same thing 8 years ago. And he probably will still only do half of a 5 year stint provided he behaves in prison.

The problem isn't the length of time, he laundered it looks like as much as a million dollars if the quotes are not exceptional instances .... the problem is why send someone like this to prison? Rehab and discourage ... or remove and discourage? If it's the first then prisons don't work. If it's the second then I say we remove based on the dollar amount stolen. 1 year for $10k or less, 10 years for 1 million or less. 25 years for 10 million I guess. Seems fair, you can get life I think for a pound of cocaine, that's less than $10 million!

As far as Gal goes, I never really took a liking to him. He always had that perpetual scowl on his face and the unbuttoned shirt showing his chest. Always came across a bit douchey and overly smug. Not really surprised on this development given how he came across on the streams

Poker players complain about government interference and then also cry about full tilt scamming people. Government oversight is necessary when it comes to gambling because gamblers can’t be trusted.

Everyone knows how dangerous home games are, which is why most people gamble in casinos. But the only reason why casinos are safer is because they are regulated. You can’t have it both ways.

No ones complaining about oversight of legal gambling. The complaint is with the federal criminal justice system. The federal system is rigged. They threaten draconian prison sentences for non violent offenses like gambling. With the hope of turning defendant's into desperate informants.
