Maybe you should post more often that you don't want Tapie to buy FTP. I think ~15 times isn't often enough. Some people may not have understood your point...

wait he fixed soccer matches, maybe he will get advice from the AP scandal group on super users and maybe rig the RNG. This online poker is so corrupt it trult amazes me.

An agrrement with DOJ means it's gonna be very difficult to get it done. I'm sure current FTP owners will want any and all charges settled and no jail time for the Leder et all crew..ah yes just like I thought, lederer and the hippee will live on

Yeah he for sure can. He will wait to build up the company and make it really profitable and then just steal all of it and have no repercussions at all. This would be way smarter then just legally making all that money year after year.

Full Tilt still won't be allowed to operate in the USA once they've made a deal, so why would they worry if a French company scams non-Americans?

I highly doubt the DOJ will settle the entire case. Dropping rights to seize FTP assets, yes, and maybe agree that no criminal indictments will be brought against Lederer et al. But I'm pretty sure the DOJ will want to continue with the civil case against the owners.

Why should they worry now? Why don't they just seize Row players now when they already publicly said they are looking out for everyone not just Us players. Does that answer your question? I don't care about people that are hating me cause they got alot of money locked up deep down inside you know theres no way the Doj will throw this convict a bone and no way he is going to buy them outright without the Doj helping. Oh ya and im willing to place a bet for any money and escrow money to any moderator that this sale does not go thru with the help of the Doj.

Just about every person the DOJ has ever talked to is a convicted felon and the vast majority of them probably went on to scam people later on too.

Incredible how these guys start a lobby against Tapie now.
These can't be just haters, I bet some of them are on payrolls.

seriously, its cool and all that you have a WHOPPING $723 locked up on FTP, and you would rather laugh at all the people who actually made significant money playing poker. but those of us who are actually good at this game, have houses, cars, tuition, rent, food locked up... not pennies and nickles like you. so GFY sir.

and also, if FTP is bought, new management will be in place. and i'm sure whatever licensing agency gives them a license again will have a CLOSE watch over what they're doing, therefore the company will be much more transparent. so hoping for failure just so you can feel better about being stuck in the micros is low. again, GFY.

sorry for being rough mods... but i think this needed to be said.

Yup just like the Kgc closely watched Ub/Ap and Acwg closely watched Ftp, please don't bring commisions into this as the governing bodys are a freakin joke and don't give a **** if your money is stolen. Infact they are probally paid to look the other way while the fraud is taken place.

Depends how you bet it. If I am willing to bet the over on 25% then I'd sure as hell take 3:1. (Notice I said I'd take 3:1, not laying 3:1)

If they buy FT, i think it will be the most secure/transparent site in the history of online poker.
Because of what happened...
They know everybody will pay attention to that.

Agreed. The chances the new FTP will pull this kind of **** is, while not impossible, much less likely. It's like in the Movie GARP (yes I know it's also a book) when the plane crashes into the house they're thinking of buying and Garp decides to buy it because it's been disaster proofed.

I think you share the sentiment of many, many visitors to this thread. Thanks for this solid contribution (not sarcastic).

Will Phil Ivey still be making an estimated 2 million a month from FTP?

Interview with Tapie quotes - there is still "a long way to go" before all ends meet, but Tapie hopes that the site can reopen by January 2012.
