i don't know how much u knew or know but there was an agreement for them to be sold to a french company, contingent on that company getting approval from the doj and them dropping the charges etc. that company got that approval and now its back in full tilts court where their shareholders have to approve the sale. its been like a month and no word on that yet. that deal works like this: full tilt forfeits their company to the doj in exchange for them dropping the fine/charges etc - then the doj sells the company to the french company.
if that goes through the french company will be responsible for paying all of the non-us players their money, and will re-open the site as a non-us site. the doj will be responsible for paying back us players and will use money they seized from full tilt on and before black friday and money that the french company pays to buy full tilts assets (software, players etc) to do so.
or something. i just check subjectpoker.com to see if there is any news. if they don't have a new article up i just assume nothing has changed.
ok thanks for a serious comment/reply i really appreciated this.
