anyone know what the deal with rakeback accounts are? I was told by a friend that he received a voicemail several weeks ago saying that his petition had been approved (he had an account with rakeback) and was scheduled to be in the second wave, but from what I'm reading, it looks like only players with slightly incorrect banking info will be paid. Any word?

I support the PPA but overall in such a serious matter with people posting for weeks and no update from GCG I would expect someone from the PPA to post an update more then every couple weeks.

So you think the PPA either is controlling the remissions or has access to the decision makers at the DOJ?

What's there to update if no one is giving out information and we aren't in control of the process?

If we were getting paid in the near future wouldn't GCG announce it?

Agreed. I'm hoping we get paid this month, but not exactly holding my breathe.

Just got off the phone with Patrick...looks like wave 1.5 will be going out very soon.

Unfortunately, as for disputed accounts, Patrick gave me an unofficial estimate and based on his speculation it looks like we are waiting until summer. Waiting until summer for the review process to even begin or for the money to actually hit our bank accounts, who knows, but probably the former. He seems to be on point so I'm really unhappy hearing this.

I wonder how many disputed accounts are actually out there. It looks like we have months to go...this is becoming a slow form of torture.

Btw props to Patrick to even speculate for us...he certainly doesn't gain anything and knows how hungry some of us are for any piece of information.

Any information for players with undisputed duplicate claims?

I mean you talked to him so what did he say? Is he quoted as saying "very soon"?

Not sure what the timeline is for duplicate claims but unfortunately it won't be included in wave 1.5.

Wave 1.5 should be payed very soon as in the timeline mentioned many times itt. End of the month for bank wires and early April for checks.

Disputed accounts will not be paid for a while imo. RE months, but before the end of this year.

Well that sucks.. I was told by Patrick 3 weeks ago that people who had one of their duplicate claims deleted/fixed was to be paid in 1.5.

The wait begins again...

Maybe call said Patrick and ask him this question...I would like to know the answer also. Your tone is much better today so maybe you can convince him to pay us all tomorrow, before the end of the month?

That's frustrating. Starting to wish I just took the claim, then called after I was paid for the rest of the disputed amount.

I imagine most of the disputed claims are black friday withdraw related, no? I don't see why this has to be stretched out so far...

edit: does Patrick have a direct email address? I'd like to be able to email him for non-urgent things... I imagine he's getting hundreds of calls a day...

Hey Poo, if you have an issue with me bud, feel free to contact me on skype or DM me. Otherwise keep your petty troll attempts to yourself instead of derailing a thread specifically aimed at trying to resolve remission issues.

Best of luck.

He does, but I promised that I wouldn't post it in the thread at his request. It's not like I'm special--just be nice, cordial, and appreciative on the phone and ask and I don't see why he wouldn't give it to you. That's all I did, and I'm only looking at mid four figures.

He told me that email and voicemail both have their pluses and minuses for him, but he listens to every voicemail, gets literally hundreds every week and keeps up with this thread.

I last spoke with him on the phone about two weeks ago and he said very clearly that bad banking info people like myself are in the next group all by themselves (this was not opinion, though his wording was such that I would believe it if duplicate claim people were included as well) and that he would be (direct quote) "very surprised" if we don't have our money by the end of March. This was before the DOJ gave official approval on that batch of payments, and the latter statement was very much in the context of his best guess as opposed to a certainty (they may have received approval from the DOJ since, which sounds likely from what others have said recently), to be clear.

All told, I've spoken with him three times and I am about as close to 100% confident as I've ever been throughout this process that he is basically working himself to death for us and hasn't said anything that was intentionally misleading. He knows that the people under him can't say much other than a script but that's because they don't get paid enough or know enough to make conjectures.

tl;dr: I would gladly kiss Patrick on the mouth after all of this and have been actually feeling secure about all of this for the past two weeks.

i spoke with patrick on the phone yesterday and here are the cliffs:

1.5 will be going out "by the end of the month" so obviously being the 28th that doesn't seem possible but i am sure they will be going out next week due to his confidence about wave 1.5

i asked him specifically about wave 2 and he said after 1.5 goes out they are sending "the next significant batch" (which would be 2) over to the doj in "early to mid april, mid april to be safe" he then said it takes the doj however long it takes them to review these claims and they send them back to the gcg. i asked how long the process could take at the doj and he said he couldnt speculate on that. he did say however that once the doj sends the claims back approved it takes the gcg "about 1.5-2 weeks" to process what they sent back to them before starting the bank test deposits and then the remissions.

if you are in wave 2 i wouldnt expect a payment until AT LEAST mid May, if not early June. he also said they will not be updating the website until they receive the claims back from the DOJ just like they did for wave 1 where it said "we have gotten the go ahead from doj for 82M etc etc"

although discouraging on the time frame (doj could take a month+ to review the claims, however im hoping it wont be so long due to the fact that the number of claims in wave 2 as opposed to wave 1 must be significantly smaller) i hope this was helpful and gave some insight

cheers...hang in there guys and quit bitching at eachother itt we are all annoyed. let the trolls troll - they troll because you give them attention for their trolling and banter back with them, remember that

Nice report. Any info from Patrick on which of these claims are included in Wave 2:

Those that had duplicate claims.
Disputed claims.
Tagged as affiliates.
Tagged as affiliates but later untagged.
Undisputed claims that were properly submitted, but somehow got left out of Wave 1 due to GCG error.
