They sent a $0.00 ACH test deposit. Some people could see it in their online banking, some couldn't. If the test deposit went through, then they sent you the email you got. If it didn't go through, you would have gotten a different email.

I have WF, didn't see the test deposit in my online statement, but called last week, and they confirmed that they DID in fact see the $0.00 show up in my account.
