I can't move to Mexico with a few of my friends who are playing down there online. Such a messed up situation. Hope it gets resolved asap. Thankfully though, Ivey and other owners are just living their lives as normal, as if FTP didn't completely, or nearly completely support his lifestyle over the years, I really have alot of disdain for him especially. He was the main reason I played on FTP, cuz I looked up to him, and now this. And he can't even be bothered to make a statement in like last 6 months. It's just so ridiculous.

It has, but no one is hiring around here unfortunately.

I am in the same boat as him.

Pretty much this.

No, buying and selling FTP accounts is officially forbidden on 2p2.

Someone posting information about the current market rates we let slide, since it does give people a general idea of what people think about the value of FTP, but soliciting and/or offering to buy/sell funds is not allowed in any forum on 2p2.

Got it. Can I ask why this is so specifically prohibited when other marketplace actions are allowed? Is there a special reason or is it just that deals gone wrong are going to be too prevalent and 2+2 doesn't want to have anything to do with such high risk deals?

The decision was made before I was modded, but IIRC it's because of the risk of multiple deals going wrong and multiple posters getting screwed/scammed, and 2p2 wants nothing to do with it.

Obviously this is a unique situation, since no other site are people selling funds for the promise of delivery at some unspecified and possibly never to come date when every one gets their money back (or some of it back) from FTP.

Just a risk issue AFAIK.

RJ, are you sure this is correct? There are multiple posts looking to either sell or buy FTP $ in the HSNL Transfer Thread within the past couple weeks, including at least one confirmation of a sale between Dave4112 and PartyGirlUK.

Yeah, and there's nothing in the OP about it.

Moreso, the gigantic general P2P trading thread in the Zoo doesn't have any rules posted against it, either.

What an absurd comment. So if someone kills your wife your response is "can't you get a new wife?" I have enough money to live on, and my financial decisions aren't your ignorant ****ing business. Get ****ed.

As if the point is, I am unable to make back a large sum of money. The point is I shouldn't have to think up a ****ing plan to make back the money a bunch of crooks stole from me. You are truly a douchebag.

I'm sure that's what I was told. I don't enforce rules outside of the forums I moderate (other than really obvious stuff like horse pron) and certainly don't go looking for it.

If other moderators either forget or don't notice (mods don't read every thread in their forums, generally speaking) or look the other way occasionally in their own forums, IDK.

Myself and the other mods most active in this thread and in NVG in general don't allow it in here, and I was told that was a site wide decision.

Lederer, Furst, Bitar, Ferguson's answers to the amended complaints were due today. Hopefully something is posted on the dockets tomorrow or relatively soon. (Probably another extension)

Deadline was rescheduled until March 19. This is entirely to be expected if even one of the parties is in settlement talks.

Wait, we have to wait until March 19th for FTP to work stuff out with DOJ?

And after that wait even longer for DOJ to clear payments?

Could be shorter, could be longer. Judges have to set deadlines, but Judges can alter those deadlines (for more time) or the parties can settle prior to the deadline.

Nah. Those deadlines are insignificant.

Was about to say the same. If it's just some random wealthy dude who doesn't know any better then whatever, but judging from the tweet it must be him. Are some really that oblivious to the fallout from all of this that were affiliated with the company?

Although, solid way to pre-tilt people at the table, I'll give him that.

I don't know what's with Ivey if he is on our side or not, I seen vids on YouTube where he lost like two mill throwing dice within minutes like it was nothing, of course that was before BF.
