Actually, from what I've observed, people just keep talking and talking about him (some of them pretty harshly), and then he pops back up to respond.

If I thought for a second him not responding would actually result in things calming down I'd ask him to do it in a heart beat. But since I don't think that's likely, it doesn't seem fair to tell him he doesn't have a right to respond to some of the pretty ridiculous accusations being made against him, here and in other threads.

He can verify that I came down on him very hard when he persisted in his "inside source" Scott Matusow bull****. I don't necessarily believe him this time, either, but I'm not going to cut him off at the knees and allow some of the more vitriolic haters pile on while he's forced to remain silent.

People think that just because demet got banned for posting lunacy and attacking other posters that they can get china banned also if there is enough consensus.

According to all normal people that has already passed. However he has sources connected to FTP that tell him it is coming. We all know what good sources FTP related people have been. He pretends they might also be with the doj or stars but again any reasonable person knows that is not possible.

Cm also has previously been fooled by the charming Scott matusow into reporting inside info that was also bs. China did have some dbag who was banned from here for talking badly about mason's family verify something or other. What was verified has never been determined.

To sum it up china has had a lying criminal FTP employee/relation that has been verified to exist tell him that Pokerstars will have announced a deal to buy ftp last week or early this week (it is 5pm et on Wednesday as I write this and Pokerstars is located many hours ahead of that)

I think a lot of that has to do with the fact that he keeps changing his dates. You of all people have seen the way people react on the day of the last day of "next week" in this thread. So that's what happened last week, and then Monday/Tuesday of this week, and then today.

I didn't follow all of the discussion in the other thread, so the only dates I was aware of was what he said about the bets (that he had until midnight of either the 23rd or the 24th, I don't recall which). 24th?

He's been called out, I think. I mean, if tomorrow night comes and goes, he's gone from this thread (until the PS deal is announced) and he'll never be allowed to post "insider information" again, or he actually will be banned.

But yeah, I mean, you're free to point out the inconsistencies and all that. I think it's hard to say he's a liar since he's reporting what a source said (and he 100% believes), not claiming he has the first hand knowledge himself, but I suppose that's more a matter of opinion than anything else.

Just to clarify these points. On the first, he never talked to Scott Matusow. His "source" then was someone pretending to be Scott Matusow.

For the second, the person is Todd Witteles, aka Dan Druff. I don't know/care why he was banned from 2+2, but that doesn't mean he isn't a credible source. Todd isn't China's source for this, but Todd said he knows who China is and knows who China's source is and says that he thinks the source is valid. Todd may be a lot of things, but he's a respected member of the community and would not lie about that.

Doesn't change my feelings towards China's latest claims, but at least some of the details here can be sorted correctly.
