OP, she's likely sponsored to some extent, if not fully. Many players have been over the course of poker television history, from very good ones to very bad ones.

There have been players that have barely understood the rules that have been sponsored before.

That is a good question. Very, very good question. As someone who is passionate about poker it pains me to see on TV high-profile, sponsored, professional players who are horrible at poker. It's a shame. There are plenty of good and great players in the game. Why not choose one of them as your pro to sponsor?

I understand. Doesn't make it right. It makes a mockery of the sport. And I see this happening way more often with female pros. There is an issue specifically with horrible female players getting sponsored who really don't deserve being sponsored if we go by their skill level and accomplishments.

She is not a horrible player. I have played with her quite a few times and she is good at the pokers. Don't make a snap judgment based on a few hands that you saw on TV.
