I understand the hate at Dane Cook because of the stealing lines stories. That said I find a lot of his stuff hilarious. And the reason is probably mostly because of his style and delivery. You can tell some lame ass joke that's been told millions of times before and if you are funny you can pull it off. He's an energetic crazy son of a bitch a la jim carey etc.

Hell, I was at Harvey's comedy clubs last night in Portland and the main feature both made fun of a group coming in late and a couple that tried to sneak out with a few minutes left to beat traffic. Those bits, along with the rest of the show, was hilarious.
