This reminds me of a well known player from several years ago. (finished very high in main event) He used to borrow money, and, when asked when he would pay it back, his standard response was, "whenever you NEED the money, I will pay you back." That means that the lender, no matter how rich, had to lie about his current financial status, and ASK to get paid back. Nice, huh?

funny situation while playing 100/200 mix at rio 2 days ago

5 handed decent game, lindgren, 2 tight but i assume recreational players, 1 commerce mix reg that i know well and me playing. david gee (caz reg) comes over and wants to lock up a seat, i throw him a dollar to lock the seat. about 2 hours later david is no where to be seen so it seems pretty safe to take my dollar back. after i take it back edog is like "you know thats someones dollar right?". my first reaction is to just answer honestly "ya i put it there for david". my second reaction is to lol because the guy has a 16 page thread on 2p2 about stealing prolly hundreds of thousands of dollars and hes on the lookout for the guy who has been playing high stakes limit holdem and mixed games the past 4 years to finally slip up and steal one dollar (one hundred pennies!) from someone while playing 100/200. admittedly im as close to busto as ive been in a long time but ill prolly move down in stakes before i have to start stealing ppls one dollar seat locks to survive
