put me firmly in the DB seems like a good guy camp. i've never seen him be anything but pleasant in a live poker setting, which is more than I can say for 75% of recognizable poker names.

also, people talk about him like he's a giant fish and theres no doubt he can often be find in NLHE lineups where he's not a favorite, but i'm pretty sure he's made a lot of money in his life playing poker (and a lot online, recently, playing omaha) and he might even know when he's giving a bit back playing against the very best NL players online. its not like he's grinding 300/600NL 6max 40 hours a week and the game would run if he sat.

erica, on the other hand, comes off as bitchy and ignorant in her blog post, and not just because she insulted my Magic the Gathering roots. perhaps she can be forgiven for having so much venom for someone who she sees, rightly or not, as a representative of the group of people who call her a whore and make fun of her for sleeping with a fat guy. also, wtf at calling him mr b.

lastly, krantz would probably be smart not to be a dick to david but he was probably stuck a bunch of money and tilted or something.

i kinda agree with much of what she said, other than the last sentence or two where she says the kids are gonna go busto. clearly she doesn't understand very few live pro's are better than the kids nowadays, and mr. b aint one of them at nlhe.

In an interview I did with David Benyamine in French about his 1,2 million dollar hand on High Stakes Poker against Guy Laliberté he gave me the impression of being a down to earth guy.

I was watching when David Benyamine quit his heads up game against
