LOL at the table's reaction.

Poker is such a miserable sport.

This was clearly just a nitroll. Don't understand why everyone thinks it was some huge attempt to disrespect a legend.

The announcers lay into the guy the whole hand, that was great.

A nitroll is tanking with a strong hand that's highly likely to be the best hand but short of the absolute nuts. This was not a nitroll.

He's scared of busting because of reasons that don't make sense. That's a nitroll to me.

depending on other chip stacks and payouts it could be correct to fold nuts here

I'm a rec fish and the most annoying thing in all poker is people taking forever on decisions.

This was even worse because it isn't even a decision. Guy is just wasting everyone's time when he already knew what decision he would make.

There's no way it could be possible that folding this hand on the flop is correct, because if that was possible, then the hand should've been folded preflop.

he confidently flipped his hand, like BOOM look at THIS!

he knew he had the nuts basically and was just playing it up for the cameras

Agree with Gobbo that this is a nitroll. He looks legitimately confused at all parts of the hand, including when cards are turned face up. I think he's a beginner, who like many beginners, are scared to commit all their chips no matter what the cards are. No one noticed that he flatted 30% of his stack preflop? Might be a slowroll but especially when it's his first tournament cash ever, I'm willing to grant him the benefit of the doubt.

Also I cringe at how unprotected his hand is the entire time. So easy for a dealer to accidentally muck it.

maybe preflop when he didn't shove while short but not post, do you really think that he thought there was a hand beating his hand after all that time, I can see someone tanking with KK pre as a very bad nitroll but having the nuts post on the flop then tanking 1 minute +, with the emphatic slap down of his hand afterwards, no way.

The guy clearly is a rookie who has no clue about poker etiquette, felt really bad for everyone laying into him the whole time. But obviously none of these oh so observant people picked up on this. Morons.
