The day the generation of players who are suspicious of e-anything is gone, I am gone too. It's not only old players, but also middle aged bad players. Without them, games would get really bad.

I am all for your idea of having both electronic and non-electronic games in the same room, but that would not work out because as soon as the electronic-fan regs realize that the vast majority of bad players stay at the 'classic' tables, they will move back to those.

Just how much do you think this would reduce player interaction? I'm all for disallowing sunglasses, hat visor's down, and putting one's hands in front of one's face.

Yes. But the older generation who are most suspicious of e-anything are fading away. Also, a room could have a few electronic tables and the rest traditional so players have a choice.
A large amount of player interaction comes between hands, while cards are gathered up, shuffled and dealt. Now it will be what, 2 seconds. So try to talk to another player and in 2 seconds it is shut up the next hand is out.

Really, if I wanted to stare at a screen for 5 hours I would just stay home.
