Daniel ran pretty good though. Hit a hand, call/call/call easy game. The one big bluff that he made (k9o 4bet pre bet/bet/jam) polk somehow has bottom range.

The whole thing was pretty amazing.

Daniel river check backs would be huge leak, and many other exploitable things, etc...

But Doug Polk getting has handed to him was hilarious. And he felt it too.

Kudos to Daniel for beating the odds.

For those that didn't watch. DNegs went up very early about 30k. Doug started eroding that over the next 150 hands, lots of small pots where DNegs was folding and cautious. Think Doug was ahead like 5-10k after about 170 hands. Towards the end things got spicy. DNegs made a bluff that got through for decent size. Doug had a couple of bad run outs.

Overall it looked to the amateur like Doug was playing better, but the cards were against him. DNegs was playing very tight. But DNegs was no pushover, as you would expect from someone who has been playing poker this long. Taking out the big pots, generally Doug was running over him though.
