You would need to boycott for at least a month for them to take notice of this, which most regs couldn't afford to do.
If you can significantly impact profits 3 days a month to include a Sunday I guarantee Stars will notice.
that would be an easy 5% decrease in revenues, and CEOs are very sensitive to things like that. Especially when that decrease occurs on a periodic and repeatable basis with the potential to become greater and greater as "the movement" escalates.
To do the movement OP envisions actually require a ton of real work. You can't get something like this off the ground with a ranting whiny post on 2+2. No. You've actually have to turn it into a campaign that you spend 100 man hours per week fueling. You get friends, friends of friends, etc all pitching in, making memes, making videos, getting the word out, explaining the injustice of it all, etc etc.
You've got to build an actual case and generate a groundswell or support.
From what I'm gathering though, I just don't think it's likely because your target audience (the fish) just don't know enough about profitable play to care that they are paying an extra 1% or 2% or whatever of rake and associated costs. They load $100, play play play then go busto, reload another hundo and go busto, rinse and repeat.
And the regs will follow the fish. Sharks follow fish, not the other way around.
