The Russian guy sure looks like they ran out of neurons at the babyshop when his mom and dad ordered him.

I've heard he was actually a #1 prospect in France as a teenager, not sure if he was ever a ranked pro.

Leaving Russia would be next to impossible 40 years ago, and a pain in the ass about 20-25. Nowadays it's not much harder than leaving Belgium.

Well, the richest Russians all got their money in a somewhat illegal way, so you can assume that most of them got their money this way.

Most of them escape through the Gulf of Finland to the Baltic Sea with small row boats... during the dark hours of night.

I thought it was hard to leave Russia nowadays based on some Russian immigrants I've talked to have said, and based on what some locals have said in Russia

If any old Russian citizen can buy him and his family a plane ticket out, and is able to take his money with him, I guess I'm wrong

actually it might be that the only clean riches we see today is the athletes.

Anyone know if this kid is any good at tennis?

Even with Benyamine being out of shape he would need to be a good 4.5 player to even have a shot.

If you've never played tennis...I can find guys who can hardly walk you would be drawing dead against.
You guys are seriously overestimating the disadvantage of being overweight in tennis.

Get a match between any of the following: Benyamine,Antonius, Hansen and we have something interesting.

plays well enough to smoke just about any rec player

For anyone who ever played tennis it's obvious that the guy who has pro level technique will smoke any recreational player and probably almost any amateur tournament player regardless of his weight, conditioning or mood.

His point wasn't that Degenyamine was bad at playing tennis but to remind evreybody how fat he is...you know just to make his american's fat ass look better.

In tennis, when your skill level is much higher than your opponents, you generally don't have to move around that much.
07-08-2009 , 02:01 PM
Benyamine, even being a good few pounds heavier, will still have wayyyy to much for him. His serve will be good enough to win his own service games, without having to move most probably. When he is receiving serves, he only has to move a couple of foot either way to hit a return that will not come back.

Benyamine will not lose.

Russia is what's called a "Blackmail State".

Every businessman is required to be "corrupt"...
And pay all the right bribes...
And break all the right "laws".

Repeat... REQUIRED.

Why?

Because now the Government has 100% control...
Since 100% of businessmen have broken countless laws...
Anyone can be "prosecuted" at any time...
Even the richest man in Russia...
Who is doing hard time for in Siberia.

Therefore all rich Russian guys are, in fact, corrupt.

Some lying Russian will now respond to this post...
And deny everything...

If you do not understand the concept "Blackmail State"..
Then you cannot even BEGIN to understand Eastern Europe.

Benyamine might have been a good player back in the day, but so was illya- he might have not played as many major tournaments etc, but he still had a good technique! so i actually think it would have been a very tight call on who would win the match.

i have never seen benyamine play, and i'm sure he would get back into the game, but so would illya!! and not to forget that illya would have an advantage of being younger and quicker on his feet!! i guess both have gained quite some weight and both are not in their best shape as they used to be....but still disagree that benyamine would be the bigger favorite!!!
