kanu vs jungleman at 50/100 NL HU
12-02-2013 , 09:16 PM
yeah, hasha & wcg won, Ike and Vogelsang lost, Lotte too, but he left a long time ago.
WCG wanted to take 2 min break and then hasha said he needs some food, might continue later(2-3hours or so).

Willy has heart, midstakes+ seems to have less 5b bluff jamming than ever

Wonder what kanu had??

Pretty sick when river bluffs get called by worse at high stakes...I mean it's gotta be a bluff right? You would think if jungle thought he had enough showdown value, he would just call, right? I mean what worse hands can he expect to call? (Even though kanu managed to have one here)

Or does he expect kanu to call SUPER lite here because the flop and turn were checked through?

Hey Ike, Thanks for the shoutout in your wcg article! I thought it was really well-written and inspiring for small stakes players like me that really work hard to get better and move up

Sucks willy ran so good today, I'm sure you're chomping at the bit for more of his action. Hopefully he keeps playing ya

Anyone see that K4o v 56o hand?

I don't get the lines there.

Jungle raised the turn and then Kanu called with 5 high OOP... ?
12-02-2013 , 10:08 PM

Thanks, glad you enjoyed it!

I'm pretty sure jungle is valuebetting in that hand. It looks pretty crazy, but consider that kanu is betting 1/3rd pot on the river, which is more like checking than it is like betting full pot. This scenario is as close to jungle betting after facing 3 checks as it is to raising a normal sized bet. It's still a pretty big, pretty thin bet but it's gotta be for value.

any idea how much willy won? saw he had 270k on one table but also lost some big pots. love how he plays because it creates huge pots and i feel like he confuses people more than they like to admit. gto is boring
12-02-2013 , 11:26 PM
random stars account that won six figures is assumed to be a bleznick account or is he a previously unknown stud
12-02-2013 , 11:26 PM
willy won only about a buyin according to my db, which may not include some hands he played hu vs wcg
