am i ******, or should jungle not be barreling too often OTT with a J (thus making ike's call reasonable). obv he wont have many overpairs here either to value bet river. plus all the Qs/random draws he can barrel.... doesnt seem too crazy to me

I think Isildur1 is Busto he is playing shallow PLO 25/50 to rebuild.

^Going by the hh that I've read on here for a few years, it seems to me that jungle's range in these spots is probably the most merged out of any HS reg. I may be wrong though. But he is often betting hands that aren't good enough to valuebet (not in the 98hh hand tho, clear bluff) in order to keep his range wide and tough. Which would in turn, allow him to rep a J pretty well but also a lot of hands that are betting turn when checked to which clearly aren't good when called and therefore need to bluff riv.
