He loves the 2-7 triple draw nowadays. Is that what the wealthy live fish are playing or something?

Looking at Bloms results for the last 4 hours, looks like he dropped 70k in the last 30 minutes or so, but someone said earlier that what I was seeing on hsdb was different to what they were seeing, so not sure how accurate that is.

I'm starting to think that maybe 2-7 td is the new plo: 2nd tier regs (who obv at high stakes are absolute beasts) like to play a new game because they know their edge is not that strong in a game where the hierarchy is set (NLHE before, now maybe PLO). For example let's say we call "fish" the weakest 20% at each stakes, the top 20% are top regs. If you are players in the 60% what do you do? You have two choices:

1) Bumhunt/Shortstack (Pokerstars higstakes NLHE right now kind of works like that)
2) Play another game.

Now when 60% of the field start playing less at a certain level, well the other 40% are going to follow them... Then players like Tom Dwan get experience in more marginal games and start playing them more and the cycle restarts...

Obviously as usual there's a huge chance what I am saying is pure BS.

High stakes is going to revolve around whatever game Gus likes to play.

isildur just came back to 2-7 against alexonmoon and dumped the last 20k......

Everytime i look at this thread when isildur is playing its always "busted again".How can someone with so much talent continue to lose? I used to think it was maybe variance, but im not so sure anymore. Imo hes just not able to compete equally in games other than hu nl at the current stakes he plays.
