that's curious, last summer I was in Helsinki and picked up a nice girl for the night (obv italian hit-n-run strategy haha), and she told me that generally nordic guys are so drunk-desperate in discos and pubs...

They prefer to get drunk and shout at each other, then puking outside in the street, instead of asking girls for sex, that they usually are very willing to give when they go dancing in the weekend

But the point is that Italians go out with the only purpose of picking up (good or bad as this may sound), while probably Finns (and nordics in general) go out just to get drunk and have fun with friends, and if they pick up it's ok, if they don't, so be it.

At least that's what I perceived in my trips, I've never lived there

I spent 5 weeks in two trips to Helsinki last year. The women there are very beautiful. Not all blonde hair and blue eyes like I expected.

I failed consistently, but I am going gray and would considered to be slightly taller than a midget over there!
