DN, I'm about your size and you can add some distance really easily with one of those Momentus trainers or those things that add wind resistance to your swing. Also, stretch like crazy before you play, distance has way more to do with flexibility than raw power.

It's pretty funny that you can't find the handicap index of any of these high stakes golfer/poker players on the GHIN handicapping website (The official USGA site.)
Ivey, Negraneau, Brunson, Tomko, Lindgren, Antonius, etc., etc... None of them have a handicap.
I know why but I can't comprehend playing for those amounts of cash without using handicaps. I can just imagine the negotiations before a round begins. Lie after lie after lie. I hear that Blair Rodman is one the best players of the "name" poker players. In 2007 I saw that he was a 4 or 5, but last I looked he no longer had a GHIN index.
Anyone know of a pro poker player with a lower handicap?

anyway, i'll be the first disc golf nit to say it's DISC GOLF, not frisbee golf. frisbee is a brand name, blah blah, etc. would be kind of like calling basketball
"spalding ball" or something.

love to play skins on the DG course and the game is loaded with prop bet opportunities.

as for ball golf...? meh. i try to avoid yuppies, bigots, the elderly, and dress codes whenever possible.

disc golf is awesome for sure, but the courses around vegas, in my experience, are pretty weak compared to other places in the country. too much desert, not even trees... makes the courses a lot more about just bombing the **** out of your drives rather than getting through tight spots, which is one of the things that makes it so fun.



that being said, on the course i usually play at in maryland i lose a disc like 1/3 times i play because the course leads through a forest, and i have a bad habit of throwing into trees. but it's still a great time.

daniel we should play at silverstone, but you gotta hit from the tips and no dumb ass gamblers rules... PGA tour rules..
