It wasn't his skin that was attempting to clown PH, it was his ego which failed.

DNegs needs to pick his spots and an entrance by a 14x WorldChamp isn't one of them, imo. Daniel's appearance on WSOP/ESPN came as VERY childish and jealous, IMO.

Given how many outright scumbags, cheaters, and thieves there are in poker, I don't get why everyone is obsessed with nitpicking DN. Never been a fan per se, but he's relatively clean compared with most people in this "sport" and he's worked hard at his game to evolve with the times. The constant criticism seems like petty jealousy in some cases or people trying to piggyback off his fame to get attention for themselves. I don't know why you'd seek out his YouTube videos/Twitter/etc if you find him annoying.

I think he is trying to have it both ways by partly using the excuse for his cashing rate at this year's series being under par by saying, "but then these mixed games are harder to cash in because they have stronger fields (than NLHE)"

I assume that he is playing a lot of non NLHE events partly because he feels he has an edge in most of them.

And they are all limit or pot limit so if anything one should be able to have a more consistent ITM% because they are mainly lower variance games than NLHE.

I'm guessing he prioritizes the mixed stuff because it's smaller fields and a better chance at a bracelet. I doubt he cares that much about ROI since he's got the PokerStars dollars. Even if he loves his edge in NLHE, how feasible is it to win a bracelet in something like the giant or the 888? On the other hand, if you catch a heater in the 10k razz, you have a much smaller (albeit tougher) field to cut through. Seems like a good way to go if you are primarily motivated by stuff like bracelets/POTY.

One thing is for sure, he is reading this thread one way or the other. I personally like Dnegs more then i disslike him if that makes sense, he seems like a good person at heart and for me this is one most important thing in people, of course he has his flaws as we all do. That nitty old idiot comment was funny though.
