If I ask google it says “we had to take different life paths”, which is obviously a politically correct bullshit. Specially when Daniel just did a quarter rotation and went to GG poker, it’s not like he went for a different life path. Something happened!

Could be as simple as GG offered more money or a better compensation package.

the switch to GG was expected since the rake is much higher on GG which fits Daniel's philosophy to a T.

she literally chose a low paying career in a niche industry (thus limited upside) that granted exposure to being on camera - you don't do that kind of thing unless you want to be on camera

she dated and then married a man who's primary source of income is being a public figure

her protests are mostly a combination of trying to appear humble and also preferring to only be on camera after she's done her hair and makeup or under better lighting/camera angle (she without a doubt will know things like it gives the appearance of a double chin when you lay in bed with head on a pillow hence why she never wanted to be filmed there etc etc) i mean we're talking about a woman who would bring a step ladder into the poker room with her so when she interviewed people the viewing audience wouldn't realize how short she was

but lol at thinking that a woman who voluntarily decides to discuss how she's had multiple boob jobs all paid for by various men on camera is a person who doesn't like to be the center of attention and instead valuees her privacy



also what's interesting to me is that they genuinely seem like they are good for each other - they seem to get along, she certainly has embraced the housewife role, and daniel appears absolutely obsessed with her

fun fact, now when i watch old poker videos where she is a part of the production, i now notice things i didn't before like how daniel always found excuses to go and spend time talking to her - like there's that one televized game which had a bar that players could go to on break and that's where amanda was to interview them and you'd see daniel suddenly not care so much about playing and want to take a lot of breaks to talk to her for extended periods

dutch boyd also appears to have been obsessed and heartbroken by her as well, otherwise it's very difficult to explain the hit piece he did on her in his book that was made to look like a stream of consciously written anecdote and he only just happens to remember the girl's name at the end of the story and thus shared it
