Most likely not, some genius mod with a superiority complex decided to give him a ban (over a rule he did not understand) because 'he should be treated just like everyone else'.

You would think they could cut him a bit of slack considering he is so looked up to and was far and a way the biggest name who was regularly contributing to 2p2.

Apparently that is his actual hair. If you look for vids of him on PokerNews being interviewed he talks about his "grooming technique". Basically it's just blow dried up into that rather humorous "bouffant".

If you see the vid you can see it's still very, very thin, and you can see his scalp.
