Yeah... I really think ESPN is lagging here. They should have a ton more coverage of this.

DVR here for TWC shows it as a repeat of the 60 minutes segment, doesn't look like new stuff, and i doubt it is. says 60 minutes on CNBC.
05-10-2011 , 09:07 PM
pretty sure it's old segments tied together.

From their website

Quote:
“60 Minutes on CNBC” takes you a step further into hard hitting investigative reports, interviews, profiles, and features stories that have made "60 Minutes" required viewing for millions. CNBC brings you the latest on these classic stories with updates and never before seen footage of these award winning business news stories. The program is produced for CNBC by CBS News Productions.
This episode was on back in Feb. (before Black Friday) They basically replay older stories and give a little update. I missed most of it (DVR ran out of space)

time warner cable here... info says

gamblings aces: online poker players try to stop cheating; steve wynn; legalizing internet gambling
05-15-2011 , 11:02 PM
so old. they said people in the united states were playing on partypoker right now.

um... yea. wtf?
05-15-2011 , 11:14 PM
60-minutes continues to be C- journalism. They said online poker is illegal 3 times in the first 5 minutes, and lose all credibility for even replaying this episode that was inaccurate the first time around.

The 12 people who are watching this now think online poker is a fast growing industry in the United States that must be stopped. This is very irresponsible even by American media standards.

Ok, here we go with Wynn
05-15-2011 , 11:25 PM
ok so they probably did do like 15 min segment on recent news. bad lead-in, though. but I guess they just searched their archive for "Internet poker", and pasted it in to fill time because it was good.
05-15-2011 , 11:37 PM
did i miss something? did they even touch on legalizing internet gambling with steve wynn?
05-15-2011 , 11:37 PM
That lead-in was bad... ewww.
