To be honest, that photo isn't indisputable proof of Cate's salary. Anyone can photoshop that. Hell, someone who worked at that law firm could've been following this drama and produced that letter to get an easy $1000. After all, it did take her several days to post it.

I'm not saying I don't believe that Cate really made 500k, I'm just saying we can't place all of our trust on that photo.

If she can show a tax return, that would be a much more valid form of proof.

lol @ the computer noobs, if she was going to fake that there is no need to photoshop it, you can create that entire letter in Microsoft word in like 5 minutes.

Anyway it looks legit to me, he should pay her or the charity she said to donate it too. Even if it was faked, scummier of him not too pay, I mean 1k to him is not like 1k to everyone else right?

Yeah you've got to say that the document plus the weight of all the additional circumstantial evidence makes it extremely unlikely that Cate is pulling a fast one here.

If I was I'd have nearly as much money as Cate and Mike combined......... which we are now learning is an absolute truckload of cash.

Completely agree with WCG| on the 1k freeroll for 500k/yr salary:

CH is saying legally Dentale had an open offer and it would be legally binding. Legally binding? No way, she should be embarrassed to even suggest that, goodluck getting that enforced in court.

1) impossible to prove
2) unfair to those at top who work really hard

She has not only overstated her case, and she then tries to rephrase what she meant: " well I can compete with any man and do not need to be put into a seperate category". Great, but thats not what you originally said. Also her political charity is complete horse doo doo, plenty of other charities with non political motivations that help people, donating even a penny to that organization would be misguided.

The booking argument is pretty ******ed. When someone offers a bet like this, it's always a freeroll, because no one would take it if they aren't actually going to win.

She did roll back on the AT hand and a little on the number one in the world comment and also on the tipping dealers. I didn't follow any of this too much just watched the match and the interviews, she came across far better then Dentale in both.

But there is no way I am giving one cent to a charity for journalists, right or left, there are some bad journalists and good journalists. With something like a charity to cure cancer the charities' goal isn't obfuscated.

The free roll argument is bunk. The whole point of these bets is that dentale scores points whenever the other person doesn't accept the offer precisely because it is a free roll for the other person
