A misconception antigunners have is that all legal carriers now think they are superman and looking to get into a gun fight at the drop of a hat. There is responsibility involved in carrying and one of those responsibilities is getting good training amd understanding your limits. Another responsibility is having good situational awareness.
If someone gets the drop on you with a gun in your face then you hand over your money, observe as much as you can about the situation and robber, then call the cops. It's that simple.
Average joe Ccw carriers, well trained military personnel and cops all get caught in bad situations all the time and have to just deal with getting surprised like any unarmed person. This isn't the movies.
