The reporter states he/she had a convo with a UB/AP exec (Paul Legett?? can't think of anybody else of significance who still works there) and it was said (repeatedly?) that a program/plan to reimburse American players could be introduced shortly. I for one would be very interested to see what kind of trick they can pull off with such low liquidity. It certainly looks like shutting down is not the way they want to go but traffic is pretty much dead at this point so something positive by the end of October would certainly help.

I received a few cash outs since Bf but nothing for at least 5 weeks. My friend, an AP prop, was getting some payouts but they stopped about 3-4 weeks ago. I have tried to contact support but no one has responded. My friend had a contact that has now up and disappeared. His contact has not responded to any of his emails for almost 2 weeks which is unusual.

I have sent them an e-mail a week ago no response usually they get back to me in one two days I ve got like 4 cash outs since bf but at least they had some traffic now the traffic is so low they dont even have 50nl tables running anymore

Is AP UB actually looking for a buyer?

I have gotten no response from support lately.

When are they going to ever give us a response as to what they are gonna do with player balances?

Ugh, gambling911 is so worthless most of the time.

How the hell will they pay all their US debts when they take three months for a 250$ request?

Indeed, but its the second time this week from two different sources.. so who knows?

It's not really two different sources. In the past g911 has rehashed information found on these forums and published them with random quotes from their "own" sources. This article is no different although I'm surprised it took them two full days to put this article out.

I would assume the owners going into their own pockets or sell the player pool to another site.

Can't imagine another option for them to pay out?

I guess it all comes down to the remaining execs and owners? With all the attention going to FTP and UB's shady past I think everybody feared that anybody with deep pockets related with UB would just flee and disappear. If they (along with their US assets) feel threatened by the DOJ (possibly by other parties/entities) and the business can't pay back the players by its own you will need to go in your own pockets if your them.

The chances of success of any reimbursement program is difficult to evaluate until it is revealed (if ever) but I think player's equity greatly increases if indeed the owners (all 6 of them?) feel like they have to make it right (for whateve reason) just like the FTP ones do.

Exactly. Jounalistic integrity isn't exactly their forte.

It is becoming abundantly clear that US law enforcement will relentless pursue those charged as part of this investigation, searching out every corner of the Earth and apprehend the likes of Raymond Bitar, Full Tilt Poker’s founder, similar to how they captured BetOnSports.com founder Gary Kaplan after he was on the lam for more than 6 months. There is no place to hide! UB.com executives likely understand this and realize the importance of paying back players immediately or else face dire consequences.

My favorite line was There is nowhere to hide! Who writes this stuff? ALOL...

Hope my man that's what we have!!

We should add this in our signatures when emailing UB support

It is a nice line to say after you just had a bad beat too.

The mountains between Pakastan and Afghanistan seems like a good place to hide.
