I don't understand what makes you think he makes anything "per month" from Full Tilt. The fact is that he has a sizeable ownership stake in a billion (multi-billion?) dollar company. His income, if any, is likely to be quite small in comparison and somewhat of a moot point.

It's no coincidence that the Full Tilt guys keep betting against Ivey. These bets obviously have a positive effect on Ivey's play. Ivey is not the biggest star in poker. If he wins the main event, he could become the biggest star, and the exposure would help Full Tilt immensely.

Clonie Gowen sued for a 1% stake in Full Tilt worth 40mil. Bloch was one of the original 6 members. I'd guess he has atleast 5% stake, probably a lot more. Do the math.

She estimated it at $40 million, which was probably high because a high estimation was in her best interest. Regardless, the company is still worth quite a lot of money, and its value could increase significantly if Ivey won the WSOP ME.

I have no knowledge of Andy Bloch, never met him. I only have tittle tattle and gossip.

Makes me a good member of this thread, I'd say.

Probably Negreanu. Maybe Hellmuth. Ivey is up there, but not as big of a star to the casual fans. This main event could obviously change that.

Ivey is widely considered the best. I don't know why, but he is. Perhaps this is different from "most famous," but in my estimation about 60% of poker players in the know would say Ivey is the most talented poker player currently playing, with the other 40% being split between Antonius and Dwan

I'm pretty sure most of the FT profits are paid out as dividends to FT shareholders. They're raking in hundreds and hundreds of millions in rake, and there is no need to reinvest nearly that much into their business.

Yes, there is a huge difference. For example, if you look at twitter, there are 21k followers of daniel, 13k followers of Ivey, and less than 1k followers of Patrik Antonius.

Perhaps, but it's not like FTP is out of it's growth stage yet. There are plenty of reasons to reinvest that money. One good investment would be to invest that money in bets against Phil Ivey winning the main event (and/or bracelets).

He is a slightly winning player, but if it wasn't for his stake in full tilt, he would not be that wealthy.
Ya... no way he would ever use this system outside of this event for his own profit...

Why that would be the best No-Limit Holdem tournament player in the world, Mr. Phil Hellmuth. Iirc he has just a few more bracelets than Ivey.

Pretty sure you are leveling us Shane, but since you asked...

Chili has the tendency to increase the volume/disgustingness of fecal matter. If he wipes with $2m on a normal day, then....

Others might say "read the f-ing thread!!!" but this way I get to respond.
