Cake Network Scandal: Policy Targets Winning Players [mod note: possibly fake] Cake Network Scandal: Policy Targets Winning Players [mod note: possibly fake]

The sportsbook.com skin is also shady. They constantly cancelled my withdrawals for no reason a while back and kept saying to send them my documents, which I did THREE times. Finally I donked it off on roulette, blackjack, and MTTs that were over my head, which is exactly what they wanted me to do.

Haven't read the replies but it looks like he bonus whored the other site related to Cake and they decided to ban him, which includes closing his poker account.

I thought this guy's problem was with a skin, not Cake? Cake might not even be aware of the problem for now.

Exactly. And Players Only/Sportsbook kind of split from Cake recently, they have different tables not available through Cake...

Firstly, I think it should be reiterated that the site in question is actually PlayersOnly and NOT Cakepoker albeit they are on the same network.

That being said, does anybody know or can find out how related/connected PlayersOnly and Cakepoker really are? I am not completely familiar with how the whole poker network and poker skin structure is, but the situation could be that both sites are completely independent aside from just using the same software and player pools. In other words, PlayersOnly “security” and management would be different from Cakepoker and therefore would only make this type of decision whereas Cakepoker would never do such a thing.

In any case, the CS demonstrated and the actions taken by the site (PlayersOnly)against the player is just atrocious and completely underhanded. NOBODY should have funds or intend to deposit funds on PlayersOnly.

P.S. this is the same post from other thread on the same issue

Apparently, you can't have your, cake, and eat it. I don't fully trust any poker site. In my opinion, for the average player, Cake is worse than Cerus (UB), and Absolute poker. Then you have to worry about being able to get money out of online poker accounts without being robbed by the U.S. government.

+1
The OP in the Zoo thread claimed he only has 1 active account, yet he said this:
Quote:
So out of nowhere with no warning they are telling people who have account son different skins...they are shutting you down. I had like 250 gold cards and four hundred gold chips and they said too bad.

I am cant even believe it. Can they seriously do that? Just out of nowhere close everything down and say too bad. We dont want people having account son different skins. So all my rewards are gone. Plus they are confinscatong all my rakeback on those sites. Pfff I had over 4000 gold chips and 1200 gold cards and the just close them
Also, I have a hard time believing that "uckfayouyay's" name is actually Jennifer...So that might have something to do with it....

OMG LISTEN EVERYONE, Cake poker is completely safe. Some sites that share the same network are not, but you can't blame that on cake and should be thankful for all the sports betting sites on the network because they are what make it so damn soft.

fwiw soah just banned the person/account who posted the story originally for being a huge troll/previously banned poster.

I think they should hold their business partners to certain standards that they have to follow if their actions directly affect people playing poker on Cake.

Curious to know where PlayersOnly is based out of and what sort of jurisdiction they operate under if anyone knows thx.

yeah that was a seriously well thought out flame. I was suspicious b/c of all the spelling errors in the chat logs but then i went and talked to a support person at the place, and they mispelled every fifth word too.
07-20-2009 , 01:48 AM
I like how Lee Jones writes a big article telling customers how to talk to their support but then their support treats their customers like ****. It truly amazes me.

JUST FWIW, THE PERSON WHO'S ACCOUNT WAS LOCKED ON PLAYERS ONLY IS A MASSIVE TROLL WHO HAS PRETTY MUCH BAD MOUTHED EVERY POKER SITE. SO YEAH, THE ONLY THING THAT DID HAPPEN WAS HIM GETTING BANNED FROM THE SITE. SO YEAH, JUST GO AHEAD AND CANCEL THAT TRANSACTION.
07-20-2009 , 01:59 AM
Hai previous posters still harping on support and Cake:

CAKE DOESN"T HAVE LIVE SUPPORT FOR ONE

FOR TWO OP IS A HUGE TROLL AND THE THREAD SHOULD BE RETITLED "CAKEPOKER SCANDAL IS A LIE THIS DIDN'T HAPPEN"

That is all
