brandon is the scum of the poker world.

we have a lot of mutual friends, and he has scammed, or tried to scam almost every single one of those people. i've tried to warn everyone who asks me about him not to deal with him in any way financially. i've even berated my friends dumb enough to send him money

to be clear, i've never had any financial involvement with him, but i'm positive enough he is a shady person to warn people to stay away at all costs (no matter what vig he offers) when asked

he has solicited me for money in recent months, as well as all of my roommates on more than one occasion. every FB message he sent to us was an attempt to get $$$, so i would agree with what timex from my experiences.

it is sickening to me these kinds of people can survive for so long in the poker world.

Given that so many people appeared to be ignorant of any problems, it seems the system broke down somewhere. Not blaming you, but is this thread indicative of a bigger problem WRT getting the word out about problems? Or is this a matter of you just having a bad feeling about him that you wouldn't have wanted to post on the public forums?

iirc zima posted about him not to be trusted, somewhere and some time ago (3 months+)

and for the record i never threatened him or his family i just linked them to this thread and said i would be taking legal action against him. He owes me and my friends quite a bit of money that he has stolen and i don't mind spending my money to recover it.

There is a casino about 8 minutes from me in Vancouver (Edgewater) that has the literal softest most action filled 5/5 game I've ever seen. I am looking to either sell action or get a stake for this game, and I plan to play it quite a bit, most likely at least 30 hours a week. It is 500-1500 buyin and Id say the average stack is usually 1500+ especially later in the night.

It definitely plays more like 5-10, but I would say the necessary bankroll to have a low risk of ruin would be around 15-20k and that would be safe since the game is so incredibly soft (usually 1-2 regs maximum, and they are live pros.) Ive literally never come across a good internet kid in these games.

I have 300k or so in live cashes and tons of live cash experience, a huge win rate over 300k+ hands of online cash from 200nl-1kNL, etc.

Not to mention he is lowering the chances of everyone getting paid for multiple reasons. It's ok though he doesn't care, he has enough money that he doesn't care about that.

For myself this scam put me into a financial bad situation and might have to get a second job, to get my bills payed quick or get back on the tables ( lowstakes plo ) because all the money i transfered was my current BR which i grinded up in the last weeks.

I really wished to not shipped the money and i feel lost the last 3 days , losing my positive energy and fell into a big hole reading all the post about what happend behind the scenes.

Seems like he is did alot of transfers before ( even 10k$ ) with alot of active members on 2+2 and i cant understand why noone posted something like that on 2+2 before.
It might be noticed but definetly not easy to find. I checked google and 2+2 and all the other webpages about brandon before shipping the money and i couldnt find an entry about scam/dont do trades with him directly ( might be possible to find something with reading 100 pages on 2+2 ).

So far i can just hope to get this one sorted out as quick as possible but in the moment i cant describe how i feel about what has happend here. Most of the guys just dont care about 5k$ or more... because they just have it. In the other lowstakes forum they contact the family and friends or whatever for 100$ or less... and here theres not even a thread about him since probably years he has made those kind of stuff.

I know people that had been in same kind of situation and they managed to help themself out of it , sure it will took some time but its definetly not a good idea to post something about "go kill yourself".

I was so damn ****ing pissed off last 3 days and still iam but in the moment i wouldnt wish anyone to go kill himself , thats just out of line. Especially for people that dont have to get another job or might get stress from my landlord because iam currently not able to pay my rent for this month , but wishing someone to kill himself is just rediculous.
