Interesting how close the mirrored team pairs are <1bb 100.

Both teams are losing at a very similar rate (after accounting for mirrored hands) which would seem to indicate the bot is winning at about 11bb/100 and the differences in individual human results may have a lot more to do with variance (even over this large sample size) then people may realize.

I've seen many hands where one side gets stacked and the other only wins a small amount where its obvious either player would play it the same way.So one player shows almost a $20K loss versus the mirrored hand small profit. Takes about 25 more of these types of hands for one player out of 20,000 hands played to account for a $500,000 difference.

Is it just me or does bot seems to be 3betting and 4betting a tad lighter than humans all around. Bot is raising the top of the humans' flatting range...almost to a tee. Do humans think the bot is suboptimal here and getting more of an edge preflop? Or is it something else? 200bb deep it seems like looser 3/4 betting pre flop is probably better, no?

Also, I don't understand that Jh8h fold. Second nuts on the turn or am I missing something?

So this challenge shows and our human players have verified in chat that libratus is a beast at 200BB HUNL poker. Possibly one of if not the best HU player most of them have ever faced in HU poker.

This challenge shows that the ceiling is a fair bit higher for humans in poker than we currently thought was the case. I know some may look at it as the ceiling being higher than expected for "the bot" but I'm sure our pros are learning and getting better from this experience. I know myself and I'm sure many can vouch the same that some of the best lessons learned in life are through our mistakes. As someone else pointed out earlier in this thread; this has to be a great learning experience for those professionals playing against it.

I'm not "ripping" on him, I have lots of sympathy for him, sitting there putting in that many hands vs a slow bot, and getting murdered for everyone to see in the process, gotta be brutal. I'm sure he's a good guy, and maybe even one of the best HUNL players vs humans, It's just abundantly clear these bots own him more than the others on this and probably last years human team.
