I hate that the players are anonymous!
How can you ever figure out if players are colluding? If you see the 2 screen names playing tables together you can figure out a pattern how they play. But, being anonymous, how do you ever know??

Secondly, I notice some players making god awful plays, but keep raking in pots. I want to check their stats or be able to follow them to see if their long run losers. Knowing I can't do this it always makes me wonder if some of these awful players aren't have short term luck, but actually figured someway to know what the flop, turn, river will bring..

What if any security software to you in place to protect players from collusion? Example same player I.D.s who sit at the same tables at high frequencies most likely, though not limited to 6max cash, and 6 max SnG’s.

The fact that Bodog has done this is bad for the game and absolutely atrocious! I thought their players wouldve been so outraged, they wouldve changed it within weeks. How does this not endanger every player on the site? And in what way does this improve the game? The games are small enough to where anyone can get action...The only people who benefit from this are the colluders and bot operators. Is there a petition thread against their anonymous tables? If not Im about to start one.

Don't bother. Obv the players didn't like it, but Bodog doesn't care. From an objective business standpoint, I can kind of see why Bodog did what they did, and only they know if they are making more money now.

Just don't play there. Ez game.

Of all the petitions I've seen (some of them have been quite ridiculous), this one would be the biggest waste of time of all of them. You're a year too late, and even then I doubt it would've made a lick of difference. Tonnes of 2+2ers were outraged then, and it didn't bother Bodog one bit. They've made it quite clear that they're marketing to casual players and feel this was something they could do to give them some protection. It wouldn't surprise me if all the negative reaction they got only made them feel even stronger that they were doing the right thing.

I disagree. I play simple one , two table at a time and don't use any software and rarely visit websites to get information on my opponents. I develop player reads while I'm playing each individual session.

I like knowing that I'm not potentially losing my edge to players with hud's and other software arsenal.

Same here. That prior comment was pretty ignorant.

LOL software arsenal. Yeah, trade in that imagined disadvantage for a very real one against bots and teams.

On the internet, I consider myself a casual, social player. I have experienced a substantially improved win rate at anonymous tables. I'm not sure if it is because the HUD users are absent or because they aren't able to play as well without the information they grew accustomed to having. My win rate indicates I don't have a problem from bots or collusive playing teams.

For the record, many people still use HUDs on Bovada. You can't use historical information so all HUD tracking is done per session only, but the information is still useful after x num of hands.

So HUD's provide no advantage to the players that use them?

The stupidity level keeps rising in here ...

What program or software are these players using?

How much of an advantage do you think they provide? Enough to warrant opening the game up to botting and cheating so that it's not policeable by the community?

I think Holdem Indicator works for Bovada.
