I disagree about the retweeting. I think it's great that you acknowledge the people that reply to you unlike some other poker pros on twitter.

It is OK. Many people like the refreshing change of complete honesty and putting your life out there for everyone to see warts and all. There seems to be a lot of negativity on this site for anyone who has publicity for whatever reason. Not sure if mostly jealousy or just hate in poker players blood in general.

Regardless, there is a blogger out there who is super popular and has a big following mostly because he has the same honesty and tell it like it is candor. He keeps people on the edge of their seats cause you do not know what zanniness is coming next, even though he is a small time grinder who has zero chance to make anything and repeats the same bonehead mistakes time after time after time.

I think JRB should really get a full time blog going and would garner lots of interest.

note: My philosophy, if you can get the money to play, more power to you!!!

Mr. Bellande doesn't realize something. One day he'll pick up the phone and no one will take his call. The well will eventually run dry.

When I was young I used to play his game. I didn't worry about anything, because I could always borrow. Then one day, not only could I no longer borrow, I no longer wanted to borrow. I hated borrowing.

It's much more satisfying being your own man even if you have to play a few levels below your ego-line.

Mr. Bellande could win a million dollars tomorrow, but it wouldn't make a difference. The more you have the more ways you find to go broke. Sure, he might buy a condo or a business, but condos and businesses can and often are sold, traded or lost.

Once I learned to play within my means life was much more satisfying. Going broke should be anathema, but Mr. Bellande hasn't reached that point yet.

I can assure you that day will eventually come.

obv JRB has friends that are willing to spot him when he busts, whereas other players without those resources would have to quit poker full time and work up a new BR if they busted....JRB doesn't seem like that's the case for him..

I think JRB will ultimately be successful with this (for lack of a better word) shtick....he is a very smart, funny and entertaining guy with a lot of ability to play to the camera.....its just a matter of time before he ends up with his own reality show.....he knows how to promote and build up interest from his nightclub experience and has done a great job promoting with the pics and videos he posts on his twitter....

In the end he will make a ton of money with this routine and become a reality TV star(again)...

Really? VH1 does not seem to have a problem showing degenerate behavior for entertainment value....Celeb rehab, Sex Rehab, Sober House...etc.. the people on those shows are all train wrecks that make JRB look like a saint..
