This is probably the best news I've seen in a while.

As OP said, once this kind of money is behind anything in the US, it usually gets done. These guys can buy the government many times over.

I'd still support a lederer/ferguson runned company instead of those greedy big shots who are the reason why you can't play online poker in the US.

Kind of agree with you though.

If the government and corporate America get heavily involved, you can bet on them being greedy on rake and offering a mediocre product (see every other industry in the US)

you know how to make an impact, let them invest 100s of million on this and boycott them after.

I know it won't happen, just look at all those " brilliant poker community pilars " that kept playing on UB until they got their ass broke a second time.

still glad to see some are able to see above this madness.

now back to the hand clapping at every forbes/the economist biased article to make those greedy pigs richer and show a " good light " on online poker.

More like if they get involved, you can bet on them making laws that stifle competition and THEN being greedy on rake since they'll have no competition.
