yeah , i can confirm this aswell... bodog will buy the whole USA, and will call it BUS ( bodog's United states ) stop , a new governemnt will be in charge than where you can gamble for everything, a empty parking slot, the prices in the supermarkets. All cashier gets 52 cards, if the Customer has a higher card as the supermarkt cashier, than he get all for free, if not than he pays double

Did I really wake up this morning? How the hell does PS come out of nowhere in this deal?
04-24-2012 , 10:59 AM
Is this possible: Stars pay back US players in return for being allowed back into the US market and GBT will pay back the rest of world players and reopen FTP but not in the US market?

Hold on, e-mailing Pokerstars support about my Black Card.

In on the first 20 pages, this is the fastest I've ever seen a thread fill... Does anyone else think that gbt perhaps saw the value in obtaining the company while it was still an entity. Then did enough diligence work and negotiating to bring the torn company to a point where a party that could cover the exorbitant costs associated with bringing the company back to market (or in this case monopolizing the industry) such as pstars stepped in. 750m is such a staggering figure, though.

But, beyond that it does nothing for American poker players because unless a major U.S. based gaming corporation owns and runs the company, they are not operating in the United States legally.

Also, monopolies never work out well. So, getting money back is good. Everything else about this deal is bad. If it even happens.
So because this deal doesn't include the legalization of online poker in the U.S., it's not good? That makes all kinds of sense. Does the fact that it doesn't cure cancer mean it's a bad deal too?

Just about everything is either a monopoly, a cartel, or "connected" in this world. Real competion is a joke
