A bit out of the way from the ROW though and most of the country would be susceptible to a megatsunami
No idea how to get a visa/residency if youre a poker player however, look it up!
We're Australia's Canada
I've never been, but it's on my list of places to go, and I expect it would be an awesome place to relocate to, from all I've seen and heard. The scenery reminds me a lot of BC, but all compacted into a much smaller area.

I would love to live in vegas (already have a house there) if they had a significant player pool but I think that is a few years away still
thx for the suggestions guys but keep the sillyness to a minimum please
Also need to factor in taxes; not sure if you're paying them here or not (and I'm not asking). From what I've read, it's a bit murky whether Canadians need to pay tax - at your earning level, you're pretty clearly a professional, so I think some (most?) accountants will tell you that you need to be paying tax.
Overall, I'd agree with the suggestions that locating elsewhere in Canada might make the most sense. Unless...you are looking to raise your kids somewhere else to give them a taste of the world. If I wasn't feeling tied down here, moving to a couple different countries with the kids would've been pretty cool. Might be something my wife and I try once the kids are moved away.
