Lindgren got a ten second laugh. Now he can go on the rest of his life knowing he is one drunken encounter away from getting mashed up by Canseco. "In 1997 he was ordered to undergo battery counseling." IMO- He probably wouldn't want to see him out at a bar.

In the early 1990s, one of my uncles saw Jose Canseco in a mall in Mobile, Alabama. My uncle asked for his autograph and Jose replied, "I'll give it to you for $25." That said, I still think "Juiced" was a phenomenal book.

I've played in a couple tournaments with Canseco at Hollywood Park. I've never really talked to him, but he seems like a nice enough guy at this point.

Jose's whole life has revolved around juice over the past few years, from writing to snitching. He's made a ton of money and gotten a lot of publicity because of it. I don't think it's out of line at all.

There is an article out today about how Canseco tried to basically extort money for his movie project from Magglio Ordonez in exchange for keeping his name out of his book. Luckily Magglio reported it to the Tigers and and his agent who told the FBI. I hope Canseco gets in some serious trouble over this.

This really irritates me since Maggs was (is still one of) my favorite player when he played for the White Sox. He was a class act all the way.
