I know there are some of such a similar topics, but anyway I have a question as I started playing poker not long ago. So, experienced guys, please compare average level of poker (especially NLH cash) today, 1 year ago, 2-3 years ago.

Honestly the average skill level is about the same IMO in the world of low-level grinders like myself. I can't speak to the nosebleeds.

Things were suckiest right after UIGEA, then some sort of equilibrium was reached.

Fish come and go, pros come and go, trendy games come and go. But there's never been a moment where I said "ZOMG no more money left in poker." If one type of game sucked, I went and played something else.
