Will deprimiert be the next victim now for Ivey after Luukie21?
08-02-2010 , 03:23 PM
They should start NLH Tables not always Limit...
08-02-2010 , 03:37 PM
Break for Ivey.
08-02-2010 , 03:40 PM
deprimiert is a Highstakes limit holdem palyer from the pokerstrategy.de community just like schniblor, he used to play e-sport before under hasufly. One week ago he said he will play Ivey i thought it was a joke .
08-02-2010 , 03:44 PM

deprimiert: ok cool
08-02-2010 , 03:50 PM
He held his own so far against Ivey. But Ivey will prolly be back today or tomorrow or the day after that to kick his ass, cause thats how these things usually go, and if he doesnt restore order the universe will implode.

What's the consensus on what Ivey's best games are? I remember hearing barryg say that Phil Ivey is strongest in PLO. IMO, based on pretty limited information, it goes something like this: 1. PLO 2. LHE, 3-?. ?

edited to include Ivey's bracelets (I don't think these are very probative tho):
World Series of Poker bracelets Year Tournament Prize (US$)
2000 $2,500 Pot Limit Omaha $195,000
2002 $2,500 7 Card Stud Hi/Lo $118,440
2002 $2,000 S.H.O.E. $107,540
2002 $1,500 7 Card Stud $132,000
2005 $5,000 Pot Limit Omaha $635,603
2009 $2,500 No-Limit 2-7 Draw Lowball $96,367
2009 $2,500 Omaha Hi/Lo / 7 Card Stud Hi/Lo $220,538
2010 $3,000 H.O.R.S.E. $329,840

Almost feel bad for this Luukie guy. Wonder what remains of his roll after getting raped last night. Jesus.

Mr Luuk himself, as taken from a Dutch social networking site.

I'm surprised to hear BG say that, all I've heard over the years is that stud and stud hi/lo are Ivey's best games.

I have never suggested this, so will only briefly mention briefly do.

I Luuk, 18 years old and living / studying in Zwolle. I have poker on the Internet from my 16th and do not complain about my earnings so far, entirely at my age.

Yet I am very satisfied with my game, especially the fact that I have no fixed limit game that I can continue crushing.

I have in my short time poker all too often a nice bankroll and build them into a very short time lost, especially by tilt / spew.

Therefore I now try me on a fixed limit disciplinary focus, namely the $ 5 / 10 cap games on Full Tilt. I am going to NL and Omaha games, but my preference is to Omaha.

I'm starting with $ 10,000, which I just got paid. My plan is to each time a small part cash, so I still can earn a tidy sum in this limit.

In this way, I hope no worries nice to play poker and enjoy the game, which the last time ever decreasing extent.

Because I know myself that after a bad beat or something again coolly to the $ 25/50 games going down, I hereby promise:

If anyone sees me at a higher limit game than I will now call this person gets $ 2,000 from me on Full Tilt;

Cap * $ 5 / $ 10 NL
Cap * $ 5 / $ 10 Omaha
* $ 5 / $ 10 Omaha
* $ 50 / $ 100 Limit

Username is the same as here, Luukie21.

The $ 5 / $ 10 Omaha games I will buy up to $ 400, so buy in as high as the Cap game. The limit games I play only if they are very soft.

I hope I have for a long time, these limits can continue playing. I will occasionally post some hands here, both for strategy and perhaps a brag. Smile

Wish me luck!

Luuk
