We generally post ~200bb+ pots, but if there's an interesting hand/showdown, or if there's not much action feel free to post smaller ones.

Posting hands

How to post CoinPoker hands:

Click on hand #number in replayer.

Copy text and remove ante part of first row in hh:

Code:
Poker Hand #72306164: Omaha Pot Limit (200/400 ante 80) 2023/04/12 15:51:58 GMT
Add - after parenthesis. Line should read:

Code:
Poker Hand #72306164: Omaha Pot Limit (200/400) - 2023/04/12 15:51:58 GMT
This works until someone has a 7 figure stack, then you need to edit any number over one mega.

paste hh https://pokeit.co/convert/

The converted hand will say it's from GG, you may edit this too.

For the OCD inclined, search and replace § with $.

Post your nice hand here!

Stefan down 65 buy-ins (pre-rakeback) at NL1k since his return

08-01-2024 , 08:11 AM
100/200 skill level is similar to 5/10.

Mindset + luck are the main factors someone is at 500/1k and someone is at 5/10.

Skill gap between 0.10/0.25 to 1/2 is bigger than 1/2 to 100/200.

People like to worship high stakes players but truth is, they are good but not special.

Stefan results prove this. Actually anyone who plays diferent stakes and doesn’t sell courses will agree with me.

Love you Urubu but this is a horrible take

The skill jump from 10/20 to 25/50+ is the biggest there is in all stakes and the difference is enormous.

I think Stefan is tuned into a different meta game and probably plays a bit too light and spewy at 5/10 because it’s less stimulating.

Pretty much this, but a bit inaccurate on the exact stake levels. Look at the three biggest losers for the month from GG, these players just absolutely dumped at the highest stakes around and a 10/20 or 25/50 reg who never plays higher would have had higher EV and EVbb in games with those players than in their regular games with other recs and weaker regs. There is only so much EV that can be gained/lost against other regs in games given the baseline strategies players are playing these days, it doesn't matter if you are talking about NLH, PLO, 5CO, 6CO or any other game.

The majority of poker players will look at their EV line and take it as gospel as to their true EV, this is quite far from the object truth. There are online cash players at midstakes and higher who have run over 1000 buyins above or below their true lifetime EV. Some players have been almost permanently blessed by the deck for their entire time playing the game and for others it is the complete opposite.

Perhaps these types of posts and the accompanying NLHE hands could be moved to a separate thread. It is pretty annoying having to search for the fake Tether sign to see some quality hands these days.

Yes my time is valuable and if yours wasn't maybe you could see why those hands are wasting it. Instead of using your brain or trying to argue against my point these warriors wait in their basements waiting to attack anyone with an opinion desperately searching for something to slurp on lol. I gave constructive criticism with good intentions but I guess that's illegal and instead I'm supposed to suck poster's nuts like you two or just not be able to see any other hands because I thought a small fraction of them were stupid to post.

Stefan hasn't been playing super aggro or spewy at 1k. The problem is that he doesn't realize at midstakes GG it's basically impossible to reg battle and win. I see him playing HU or 3 handed often, which is almost always going to be -EV on GG, you need villains to be losing 10bb/100+ just to breakeven. He is grinding leaderboards and rakeback though so I'm sure he's at the very least breaking even if not 1-2bb/100 post rakeback.

Can you explain more about skill jump from 10/20 to 25/50+? Why difference is enormous?

Nah. The difference may be less visible on a surface level now than even a year or two ago, but its there.
08-01-2024 , 07:53 PM
most highstakes games only run around a fish anyway. could 25/50 players extract money and be winning in a 100/200 lineup? yeah defo and they would prolly make almost as much as the 100/200 players if they had the bankroll.
regbattles is a different beast but never happens anyway(is also really pointless since there is so much variance involved)
