I think youre missing the point here, i clearly said that I don't consider money (or donkament success) enough compensation to have the personality that he does. Although the whole point of this thread isn't my opinion, it's the fact that someone FINALLY stood up to hellmuth to his face, as ALLIN said.

imo hellmuth doesnt suck at poker totally after all he has 11 bracelets right? IMO the reason he doesnt seem like he wants to play dwan HU (or any other net play for that matter) is down to him not wanting to lose. He clearly states that he doesnt really wanna play tom HU in the PAD directors cut as he knows that tom doesnt suck. The fact is if he wanted to play tom this would have gone down like months ago as tom really seems like he wants hellmuth HU.

Anyone that just says hellmuth totally sucks are just dumb as theres no way a player who "totally sucks" wins 11 WSOP bracelets.

Haha, I saw the cardplayer interview where he bashes helmuth/people with poker saying a little while ago and thought it was pretty awesome.

In the WSOPE coverage, ZeeJustin busts Doyle Brunson, then they interview Justin and he goes on about how much quicker online players are improving then live players, and the commentator slams him with the "go tell that to your computer" line.

In ZJ's Cardplayer interview, he said that they induce them to say that stuff by asking "have you played more hands than Doyle Brunson", to which he replies "yes", and they ask him to say it again for the camera as if he wasn't actually asked the question, so he says "I have played more hands than Doyle Brunson". And then they ridiculue him with LOLZ THESE CYBORG INTERWEB WHIZZ KIDS WITH THEIR MATRIX BRAINS STILL LOSE TO THE SOUL READING TV PRO DOUCHEBAGS, R0FL!!!

I got in an argument with him during the WSOP (and I never get in arguments with anyone at the table) because he kept berating a guy who called his shove with AQo (Phil shoved over 2 limpers from the CO with about 9 BBs, guy with a monster stack in the BB made the call, Phil also had AQ). Just went on and on telling the guy he was terrible, how he knew where he was going to get his chips, saying thank god for these idiot internet players, etc. The guy was not a pro and it obviously was affecting him to some extent. Then Phil threw in, "I'm never shoving there with AJ." I finally decided to stand up for the guy, so I said something that I knew Phil would love, "Well, Phil, you really should be." That totally set him off into his "The reason I have 11 bracelets is because people like you don't understand how to play no limit hold 'em ..."
